Evolution's licensed mining and milling technology is being put to work in Saskatchewan, Canada to produce fertilizer pellets.
We can quickly set up operations in other global locations with local potash deposits, unattainable deposits, or stranded mines.
How the Process Works:
Selective solution mining unlocks potash extraction in new ways whether it's in your location or ours.
Selectively drill horizontal wells into potash beds – exposing more surface area than a traditional vertical cavern.
Inject a heated proprietary brine into the potash cavern. The hot brine will dissolve potassium chloride (KCI) in the ore as it moves through the underground horizontal caverns that develop.
The warm brine flows through the cavern, increases its KCI content, and is pumped to surface.
The brine enters the mill’s crystallizer circuit and as brine cools, KCI precipitates.
After the process, the used brine is reheated and recirculated back down to complete another dissolution circuit.

Using specialized surface cooled crystallizers, Evolution Potash can process material directly on mine sites year-round. The innovative selective solution mining process produces a potash material that is highly pure and versatile compared to large legacy mills.
