Bradley Fettis

President & CEO, Chairman, FOUNDER

30+ years in the Potash and Energy Industry. Former COO of Rallyemont Energy (Husky/Serafina/Strathcona/Cardinal), Vice President & Director at Athabasca Potash (BHP), and Management at PotashCorp (Nutrien).

Brad is a veteran entrepreneur, with his roots in Saskatchewan.  He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1997 and worked in underground and open pit Uranium mining at Cluff Lake before moving to the Oil and Gas sector with Baker Hughes Inteq across Western Canada.

In Potash, Brad held a number of positions with PotashCorp (NUTRIEN), beginning as an engineer at Rocanville, engineering and operations at Cory, Construction General Foreman at Lanigan, and finally as Chief Mine Engineer at Allan.  Brad became the third member of Athabasca Potash Inc. in 2008.  At API, Brad was instrumental in building the team and the resource to develop a Saskatchewan $4.5B greenfield potash mine.  He sat on the Board of Directors, and was the company’s Vice President, Mining until the company was purchased in 2010 by BHP Billiton forming part of the new BHP Jansen Mine, with over $14B planned investment.

In Oil, after the successful exit from API, Brad was COO of Rallyemont Energy Inc. Brad discovered and initiated development of the largest viable Modular SAGD thermal asset in Saskatchewan and led financing throughout North America and Asia. REI’s two thermal properties were purchased by Husky Energy in 2014. To the north at Meota, the new owner Strathcona Resources has invested 2.3B$ to purchase the property from Serafina, and multiple thermal SAGD projects are producing on the Rallyemont Meota play with a further $400M planned expansion. To the south, near Wilkie SK, REI’s Bagration property is now being developed by Cardinal Energy and their planned $150+M 6000bpd Redford thermal project.

Brad has a solid track record of success in Resource Development in both Potash and Oil – projects that have fostered Billions in invested capital for his home Province of Saskatchewan.

Today, Brad has founded Evolution Potash, and along with his co-founder, experienced team, and patented technology aims to use his potash and small modular SAGD experience to improved the entire Potash industry.

40+ years in the Potash Industry. President, Global Potash Solutions, and Former Management & Tech Services at PotashCorp (Nutrien).

Don has 40+ years experience in the potash industry and has consulted for projects on six continents.  As a Graduate Chemical Engineer Don worked with PCS Research and Development from 1980-1984 and focused on process research exposure to projects before moving on to PCS Cory  (from 1984-1988, 860,000 tpa production rate), as the only process engineer at site.  Don’s expertise in Potash included doubling the output of Granular product from the compaction circuit and  converting the mill from 680,000 tonnes of red ag-grade product to a 180,000 tpa white high-grade crystallizer circuit.

During the period from 1988-1995, the corporation transitioned from PCS to PotashCorp and diversified into Nitrogen and Phosphate.  Don worked at PotashCorp’s Technical Services and provided technical support to all PotashCorp Operating divisions while dedicating roughly 50% of time to Cory. He increased Cory production from 180,000 tpa to 580,000 tpa.  He also initiated various environmental solutions to emissions issues at Lanigan and Patience Lake. In conjunction with New Brunswick staff, the granular product output from compaction at New Brunswick was doubled.

Don moved to PotashCorp’s Patience Lake Solution Mine in 1995-96, with a productive capacity (then) of 350,000 tpa.  Career highlights from this assignment include the development of an operational equipment consolidation plan and a process water optimization program.

During his last assignment at PotashCorp Cory from 1996-2008, Don was promoted to Surface Superintendent and was responsible for all surface operations, maintenance, engineering, including the loadout facility.  Production from the original crystallizer vessels reached 827,000 tonnes in 2005.  Refined circuit crystallizer capacity was also increased from the original 10 tph to 30 tph capacity.

Don created Global Potash Solutions in 2008 to provide technical and operational planning support for the potash industry worldwide. Experience includes start up planning, commissioning planning, staffing, and shift schedules, and review technical aspects of project design, 3rd party review.  Clients include Arab Potash, BHP Jansen, Danakali, Agrimin, Moroccan Potash, Geoalcali.   Don also led the multi-disciplinary process design team for the PotashCorp Cory Red Expansion project, with an approximate Capital Cost of $1.7 Billion – and a capacity increase to 3M tpa.
